To the amateur, Photography is recreation, to the professional it is hard work,
and to Fernando Ceja it is both. At the forefront of Dallas Product & Fashion
photography, Fernando is inspired by his cross-cultural perspective. Born in
Mexico City, he moved to Texas in 1987. His photographic studies began in high
school and flourished in college where he received numerous accolades
including two National Press Photographers Association Awards. His collegiate
success was followed by an internship with Photographer Jeff Stephens.
Fernando’s first clients were Neiman Marcus and Mary Kay. His work has
appeared in varying advertising campaigns for Sony, JCPenney, Neiman
Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and several national publications: Zink, Newsweek, Marie
Claire, Harper’s Bazaar and Graphis.
With the rise in popularity and demand for Video Fashion Films, Fernando keeps
up with the advancement of technology and trends by shooting fashion in moving
images. Fernando’s command of superior lenses & handheld camera work
results in a natural shift from Photographer into Director of Photography.
Fernando travels frequently between Mexico City and Dallas, Texas, where he
resides with his wife and son. In between assignments, he can be found cruising
Texas highways on his motorcycle.
